This is a short PSA showing how you can tell if you've purchased a Lava Lamp with Bad or "Lazy" wax. Which just means you got one with defective wax that you need to get exchanged for a good one. Its inconvenient, but it happens.

How to tell if your Lava Lamp has bad or defective wax? It may look discolored, doesn't warm up fast enough if at all, looks cloudy or flows very slowly.
