Hi guys! This week we’re taking a look at using the threads feature in Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a twist top style enclosure. The threads feature is a great way to easily make cases with a twist top, like those you’d see in water bottles and similar liquid containers.

So in my NeoPixel Headphones project, the top part of the enclosure is a friction fit style cover that actually doesn’t hold up too well after a slight bump (the top easily falls out due to loose tolerances). So this tutorial was an experiment to see how to solve this problem. The results are very promising!
