## Who are the characters?
- Smoke - Tabaxi Ranger / Rogue (ask about backstory)
- Gabriel / Tharmond - Asimar Celestial Warlock / bard. Died and has a different soul.
- Punchy - Kenku Samurai who wants to fly. Touched by Acererak.
- Warryn - Gnome druid who wants to be a big beast.
- Ogechi - Shadow magic human sorcerer / warlock tied to the Eshowdow. Key to the door to the Night Serpent.
- Huitzillin - Paladin of Ubtao. Who wants to smite false gods.

## What is the strong start?
Fenthasa teleports away with Ogechi and leaves the rest to battle the remnants of the Yuan-ti.

## What scenes might take place?
Do they stay or do they go? Grab the cube and leave. Grab more keys at other shrines. Meet the Red Wizards?

## What secrets and clues might the characters uncover?
- Punchy has a bad diseased bite that's getting worse. Can hear the whispers of Zuggtmoy. Maybe the disease isn't so bad...
- What happened to the idol of Zuggtmoy?
- The Red Wizards have two of the cubes.
- The Red Wizards fear going into the tomb and would prefer someone else do it.
- The Red Wizards want documentation or any alchemical material from the Soul Monger.
- Valindra Shadowmantle is an apprentice to Szass Tam and leads the Red Wizards but often travels alone. She has two stone golems in her pocket.
- There is a psionic invisible teleporting T-rex named the King of Feathers hunting in Omu. It's Omu's alpha predator. Has scintalting feathers (Hypnotic Pattern
- The Yuan-ti have a cube only to control who goes in and bargain for the crown of opals.
- The kobolds reset the traps in the trickster temples but have nothing to do with the cubes and know nothing about how they work.
- A sect of the Yuan-ti believes that releasing the Night Serpent will be better than a new god of death forming in the Tomb of the Nine Gods.

## What NPCs might they meet?
Talash Voidsinger (concubine of Ras Nsi) Edith from Downton Abbey. She doesn't know which leader to believe, Ras Nsi or Fenthasa.
Ishmakahl (pronounced ISH-mah-kawl). Red Wizard spy infiltrator.

## What monsters might they face?
More Yuan-ti, King of Feathers, random encounters, red wizards (thugs, mages, spies)

## What magic items might they acquire?
Whatever's in the book. Maybe random.
