Characters
- Lord Anton Greycastle (Joe), Human Battlemaster Fighter, Waterdhavian Noble (House Greycastle) background. Delt with shipping on the docks and knows of the Luskan ships. Yagra is Anton's special lady friend. Family is a rival of Zardoz Zord.
X Greek “Banjo” Wilkerson (Jerry), Tiefling Bard, came from the outer ward of Watdeeep. Trying to build some crazy stringed instrument that's a mixture of a lute and a tamberine. Kidnapped by Frewn. Works for Durnan at the Yawning Portal.
- John the Grizzled (Jay), Dwarf Arcane Cleric, deals in lore. Dirty and not real socialable. Knows that something from the nine hells is going on in Watedeep. Also a brewer.
- Arannis (Bryan), Drow Pact of the Fiend Warlock, he knows little of his patron but came to Waterdeep because of the pull of the pact. Patron is named Izikul, a devil who collects proteges for her master (Azmodeus).
- Agarin (Pat), Human Rogue Investigator. Former member of the city watch. Too old for this shit. Sort of kicked out of the city watch. Stole a draconic chamberpot. Secretly with the Gray Hands.
- Gaelin (Adam), Elven Bladesinger sage who hunts for the hag Auntie Potiti.
Strong Start: Dinner with JB Nevercott.

- Gunslinger shooting watermelons.
- Lassoing a displacer beast. Gets loose.
- Blink dog magic acts.
- Acrobatic firebreathers. One gold dragon, one rogue stealing gold from a dwarven vault. Foreshadow of the heist...

Secrets
- The Xanathar has his attention on the gang wars of Waterdeep. He's hunting for something. If his attention is on it, its important.
- The barriers between hell and Waterdeep are growing thin. Some folks somewhere have been making dark pacts.
- The warehouse in which Raenar Neverember was kidnapped belonged to the Gralhund family. They had since stopped paying for it but someone else did on their behalf.
- Dagault Neverember left with a lot of money missing. He didn't have it with him. It never reached Neverwinter.
- The Blackstaff has mobilized her "Gray Hands". She is investigating something big. It could be the same thing the Xanathar seeks.
- A lot money shifted hands after the fall of Tiamat five years previous. Much of it went missing. Neverember was supposed to return it to the towns and villages that got pillaged but never did.
- A lot of money has moved and changed hands among the nobility of Waterdeep. Who has it? Who lost it? These could provide clues to what is going on.
- There is a scrying hole moving around Waterdeep. Something or someone is out there who doesn't want to be found.
- Blackstaff knows that Zardoz Zord works for Luskan and likely up to no good.
- Many people in the Field Ward are refugees from towns that got wiped out after the War of the Dragon Queen.
- Frewn convinced Tyler Millrock to kill Leif so he could acquire Trollskull Manor. It failed.
