El Niño, also known as "The Devil's Left Hand", was a cowboy with easy trigger and few words. He was riding away after a robbery against a wagon with a poor unhappy man that crossed his path. The man had made the mistake of accepting the post of sheriff in a border town. As a good outlaw, El Niño robbed him, leaving him in his underpants, but also took the opportunity to supplant him in his position as a law enforcement officer. It was a way of quietly waiting for the rest of the gang, and perhaps find new opportunities to practice the profession.

This area of the west was disgusting, but quiet, as the deputy sheriff often said. It all depended on whether you were willing to accept the law of the local rich man who served as mayor. "Major" Harriman was dealing with taking the lands from the settlers who lived to the south. Harriman harassed those pious people aided by his henchmen and by the Mezcal gang, a simple and evil Mexican, that from time to time crossed the border to earn a few dollars doing dirty work.

Shortly after El Niño began work as a sheriff, the vagrant of his younger brother, Trinidad, known as "The Right Hand of the Devil" came to town on a kind of grimy stretcher on his horse. He had an uncanny ability with the revolver, and he was a stray bullet who didn't seem willing to do his father's will: carry on the family tradition and be an outlaw.

To El Niño's surprise, he decided to help the settlers - who recommended polygamy among their own - after meeting two young and loving sisters from the community. Thanks to his cunning, Trinidad convinced his brother to head to the southern valley, taking care of Harriman and Mezcal's henchmen, and lending a hand to the settlers, as a good sheriff. At the same time, El Niño thought that he should set an example for his stinking brother by stealing horses, eating, drinking and looting all the coins he found along the way, like the good thieves that his father wanted to make of them. In this way, El Niño would provide a good example for Trinidad's loose cannon.

"The Right Hand of the Devil", aware of his lethal gift, will always closely follow his brother in case he requires his help, but he will always be in the bottom of the screen and can only go left/right, while El Niño can move around on the whole screen. Left, right, fire does the same action for both brothers, and you do off course have to watch out for both of them to not getting killed.

Along the way El Niño must steal the horses and the money there is, in addition to eating and drinking for free, as a good outlaw. Doing this and shooting the enemies will give you $, but if you use Trinity’s supernatural abilities with his revolver (that will soon wipe out all enemies on the screen) this will have negative effect on your $ amount.

The aim of the game is to take out Mezcal and the final boss, Harriman – And when this is done you have to end up at 8000 $$$. If you have too much you can adjust this by shooting with Trinity, his hits will reduce the money, but you have to watch out for not getting more than 9999 which will reset the score. You can walk between the different screens as much as you like to end up at 8000 $$$. The enemies will respawn each time you enter a screen (but not the bosses and the stuff you can collect).

The gameplay is different because you control two cowboys, but several other modern games also offers similar controls, so this is not groundbreaking. It is a rather short game, there is some color issues, but it is quite challenging and good fun. The objective with ending up at 8000 $$$ also adds some tactical elements to the gameplay. All the AY music is great and very suitable for a western game!

The game is based on the classic movie "They call me Trinity" with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.

Both a 48k and a 128k version is available.

The game was made by Polybius Soft in 2020.
