Lead up to Halloween? Part 3 - Terminator Resistance!! Not what I was expecting, but fun!
0I know, I know, Terminator Resistance isn't really what you'd call a Halloween game, but people think Die Hard is a Christmas Movie, so there you go.
I thought I'd already played this, but apparently not - I have played a Terminator game in the past, but this wasn't it. This is kind of a first person shooter, but it's got shades of Fallout and Deus Ex in it with its "pick your response" kind of interactions, multiple path missions, and so on.
I have no idea is this game was popular or not - I take most movie-based games with a grain of salt as they are often a cash grab. One notable exception - Alien Isolation (but no other Alien games that I can think of - change my mind lol). I'm sure there must be others but I'm stumped ... for now.
I went into this with no idea what to expect, and honestly, I enjoyed myself - I like that the controls were somewhat universal, and ones that I was used to from other games did the same in this one, so that was nice.
I'll keep posting - it's easy to keep going once I've started - and I'll try to keep things coming out at the same time to give a little consistancy.
