Leap Year Program in Java
A leap year is a year that contains an extra day in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year. In the Gregorian calendar, which is the most widely used civil calendar in the world, a leap year occurs every four years.
Specifically, any year that is divisible by 4 is a leap year, except for years that are divisible by 100 but not divisible by 400. This means that the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 were not leap years, but the year 2000 was a leap year. The reason for this exception is to keep the average length of the calendar year close to 365.2425 days, which is the length of the astronomical year.
