Leaping off a Building - Who Dares Wins
1I was given the opportunity to leap off a building - or at least attempt to - by my family as a Father's Day gift.
Rap Jumping is a highly advanced form of freestyle rope work. The method we use is a forward SRT rappel commonly known as the “Aussie Rappel” developed by the Australian SAS.
In all I had three jumps to help perfect this Australian SAS manoeuvre. The first being running/walking down the building. The second involving some jumps to the flag markers. The final jump involved standing on the edge of the building, toes over, leaning out at 45 degrees and letting go to run and jump down to the bottom.
