1My reactions and first impressions of Inscryption! With all the miscellaneous trophies out of the way, we are fully into Kaycee's Mod. It's a brutal struggle up the challenge ladder BUT progress is made towards the Skull Storm!
Inscryption is hard to pin down, it starts as a rogue-like/escape room, changes to a card rpg, and then evolves yet again back to a pseudo rogue/escape room oddity. All while telling a narrative in and outside the game. It blew my mind.

Inscryption was a wild game and the Platinum, while not incredibly hard, definitely has its challenges. If you are careful and get all the miscellaneous trophies out of the way during your first playthrough, then you won't have any clean up to do, which can be time consuming. Kaycee's Mod is no joke though and is very reminiscent of Slay the Spire with the ever increasing challenges and the need to do each challenge one at a time to unlock the next. It's easily cheesed with save scumming if you're having trouble, and the Mantis God deck can also carry you to victory if built correctly. Skull Storm also takes some luck on top of know how.
