This is our how to play the Pokemon TCG video for our Cardboard Clash event, broadcast live on my Twitch channel July 8th and 9th! Cardboard Clash is a Pokemon TCG tournament where we invite 8 Pokemon speedrunners out to Chicago to learn how to play the game for the first time. Afterwards, they compete against each other in a 2 day tournament broadcast live at twitch.tv/etchy! The competitors are playing with decks specially crafted by Pokemon TCG Regional champion Jake Gearhart.

Notably we do not go over any Pokemon V mechanics or the Lost Zone as those cards are not in the event's format. Also yes you typically use dice for every coin flip.
