Now that we have made a kick drum and snare drum sound, it would be nice to assign them to different keys on the keyboard so that they can be played simultaneously. This is especially useful when working with a DAW to control VCV Rack. In this Eurorack modeling software, it is possible to do this and this episode show how it is done. There is a MIDI to Gate module that allows one to assign different keys to trigger the envelopes of the separate sounds so that they play on different keys and can be used simultaneously.
