Learning more about Doctor Who Dalek reaction & The Long Game.
Something interferes with the Tardis' signal so Rose & The Doctor end up in the middle of some alien museum. Henry Von Statton basically captures them, shows The Doctor his Metaltron "pet" which turns out to be a Dalek. The Daleks are wiped out the same as the rest of the Time Lords. Only this Dalek & The Doctor are the last of their species. Things go horribly wrong when the Dalek escapes its cage and through the whole thing we learn more about the Doctor's past.
Later in The Long Game, Rose, The Doctor & Adam from the previous episode end up on a spaceship in the year 200,000. Turns out some alien thing basically oversees the entire human race, but it has also stunted their progression. Humans are being controlled by the news, by the media, which is all edited & basically lies anyway. And no one questions a single thing.
