Learning with the PooYoos
Meet your new friends, the Pooyoos. These loveable baby animals will introduce colours, music and shapes to young players
Champs-sur-Marne, France -- 30th June, 2011 -- Lexis Numérique, one of the biggest independent game design studios in Europe announces the release of Learning with the Pooyoos. This downloadable title for the PlayStation®Network is an early-learning game and the first video game designed for younger players on the PlayStation®3. Learning with the Pooyoos is now downloadable on the PlayStation®Network for £6.29.
With more than 70 million members, the PlayStation® Network grants access to the PS3 to several millions of children aged 3 to 6. Parents, who are used to playing without their children, now have the possibility to share a unique family moment.
Learning with the Pooyoos is based on Lexis Numériqueextended experience with kid games (Imagine: Fashion Designer™*, Horsez™* are kid games that sold more than 3 million copies). It is specifically designed for young kids and takes their age into account very carefully: visuals, length of gameplay, repetition and rewards are key elements of the game.
Many playtests with children have been organized in order to tune the game and make it fully accessible and enjoyable for young children.
The little Pooyoos are a merry band of adorable and cute baby animals who introduce colours, music, shapes and dance to the kids. Very close to an interactive TV show, the game is designed to be playable by a child that doesn't know how to read without assistance by simply pressing a button or by shaking the controller.
Its colorful environments, its music and its amazing characters makes Learning with the Pooyoos a must-have for all PS3 owners with kids aged 3 to 6.
Learning with the Pooyoos can be played with the wireless SIXAXIS™ controller as well as the PlayStation®Move. Other games based on the Pooyoos also exist on Nintendo Wii™
