I love the texture or cork! So I tried to experiment with different materials to make a round bag with cork sides. The result is a functional small bag that looks... Well.. Wierd! I guess it's visually interesting, and it has definetly been fun to make. What would have you made differently? Looking for inputs about this!

For those asking where to find tools:
I bought mine some years ago when I was starting to make leather sheaths. I went for the cheapest I was able to find. Have been working great so far! Can't find exactly the one I have but I listed some in my amazon storefront that are pretty much the same and any similar ones will work aswell.

4:04 Groover tool to score nail position
4:20 Beveler tool to finish the leather over all edges
3:37 Hole punch to insert button
5:10 Shoulder strap cut in two pieces as I don't have a piece of leather long enough
5:55 Three pieces are joined with contact adhesive and stitches
6:36 Dark brown leather dye on the back side of the shoulder belt and on all edges
7:10 Shoulder belt sewed to main bag piece
7:50 Sides are nailed on the leather with many small brass nails
9:20 Bottom piece is branded with hot iron
9:50 Leather wasn't stiff enough to close the button, added a small piece of plywood as backer
