Legacy of Rust - Counterfeit Eden (UV Max)
0Counterfeit Eden is a bit of a confusing episode. It varies from absolute ball busters, to simpler, easy maps, to a secret map that nearly drove me bonkers, whilst finishing with two levels that are some of the best DOOMery I've ever played. Soul Silo sends hordes of monsters, requiring good movement and gameplay, and gives opportunities to really appreciate the power of the Calamity Blade, while Brink is perhaps some of the silliest stuff I've ever seen. A room stuffed with Arch-viles forcing a game of hide and seek as you try to whittle them down, culminating in a fight against too many Tyrants, capped off with a return to the beginning as you nuke Hell back to the stone age. Glorious.
