Legend of Legaia #54 - Coliseum Zone (Expert)
3May as well knock the second difficulty of the Coliseum out of the park now.
On top of what the beginner course sealed off (items), expert removes ALL of your equipment except for your accessories. Best equip a Defender Chain + Life Grail at a bare minimum. After that, you can use whatever you wish.
As for the enemy lineup this go around, nothing real nasty until round 3-5. Round 3 brings a Dark Ogre, round 4 a Gold Bison, and round 5 an Ironman. All hit hard enough that your best strategy is to spirit up until you hit 100 ap, then fire off a Miracle Art. The enemies should die in 2-3 Miracle Arts tops.
After that, the only challenge of note is the final round against Xain once more. Even without equipment on, he shouldn't pose much of a threat. Hell, you don't have to spirit if he charges up for Terio Punch if you've got some good healing ready to go.
The token reward is nice at a bit over 1500, but there's still one final course to go through. It's NOT easy though. I'm gonna need several more levels to have a fighting chance.
As such, we'll be diving into the final dungeon next time.
