Legend of Mana Remastered: Useless Charge attacks vs Gorgon Eye/Bad 2nd Player for Stupid Enemies
Seeing these battles makes me see that the game has problems as a remaster (flawed guides and that diary helps search quests if lost, but having art and sound, and save anywhere are better than grandia HD having nothing).
I used to like it until I saw how the second player skills does not intuitively transfer (you need to use another save data under your switch profile and you can't modify equipment/skills which undermines them leveling up) and these charging moves require the enemies to be stupid enough to get hit by being absolutely still, or do paralysis in the end of the vid that doesn't hurt.
These flaws are Independent of if local multiplayer (I learned you can go home for saving skills or get one of the twins to join) or AI let alone the game is ridiculously easy anyway. At least Secret of Mana had the intelligence to have you charge while moving.
Ring ring land needs a pet I couldn't get within playing of a few hours and I feel you need a guide to get an AI partner/new artifacts when you run out.
Boss battle was the gorgon's eye and event list is here: https://legendofmana.info/walkthrough/events/
Drowned dreams also needs you to talk to inspector multiple times in a row. These guides help, and I feel I've played worse games.
