Welcome to my next video which covers the hugely popular Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past! Widely considered to be one of the best games in the series (and on the SNES), this game expanded Zelda's gameplay immensely by offering numerous sidequests, introducing heart pieces and setting a standard that would continue well into the series future. This walkthrough will show you how to beat the game 100%, conquering all 12 dungeons and getting all the optional upgrades and heart pieces along the way.

In the ninth part, we take a detour to grab the optional Magic Cape and Cane of Byrna. There is technically a glitch to obtain the Magic Cape earlier than usual (by using the Magic Mirror to bypass the dark rocks) but I wanted to show how to obtain it legitimately. We then take it to get a heart piece and another optional item: the Cane of Byrna (which grants temporary immunity). We also obtain the game's second sword upgrade, the Tempered Sword. Afterwards, we traverse to one of the game's toughest dungeons: the Ice Palace and obtain the awesome Blue Mail upgrade, which decreases the damage we take by half.
