Welcome! In this walkthrough, I show you how to beat one of my childhood favorite games: Link's Awakening! Specifically, this walkthrough is for the DX version, which was a color upgrade with a bonus dungeon and several small changes but it will work with the original as well. The game deviates from the standard Zelda as it does not take place in Hyrule and has quite a few Mario cameos (as well as a few platformer sections). However, the game is still a blast to play through.

This walkthrough will show you how to beat all 8 dungeons (including the optional color dungeon) as well as finding all 12 heart pieces and 26 secret seashells (the last six turn into 20 rupee chests or disappear completely).

In part 4, we take on the optional color dungeon (which is not available in the original game nor can it be completed on a non color game boy) which grants us a choice between more defensive clothes (blue) or offensive clothes (red). We also take on the fourth dungeon: Angler's Tunnel.
