Join me if you dare, as I unbox, speed build and review the 10273 LEGO Haunted House from the LEGO Creator Expert Fairground Collection featuring a Tower of Terror style elevator drop ride and multiple nostalgic references to the LEGO Adventurers theme. LEGO 10273 Haunted House is a 3,231 piece set influenced by theme park attractions such as Disney's Haunted Mansion and themed around the many artefacts "collected" by Baron Von Barron to furnish Manor Von Barron. It includes 10 minifigures and the Haunted House drop ride can be automated using LEGO motors and the Powered Up! app-based control system.

LEGO's Haunted House is an imposing and involved build. The finished build is 26.5" tall but folder up takes only the footprint of a 32 x 32 LEGO baseplate. The Haunted Mansion opens up to reveal a sumptuous interior including a large organ and multiple artefacts from earlier LEGO sets. There is also a ticket desk and then the loading area for the elevator drop ride which is superbly engineered. The lift mechanism for the 10273 Haunted House can be motorized and incorporates a neat braking mechanism utilizing flywheels to bring the elevator to a stop at the bottom of the lift shaft.

In this 10273 LEGO Haunted House review video, I also take a look at the retail packaging, show the unboxing and include a three minute speed build so you don't miss a moment of the excitement of building this awesome LEGO Haunted House.
