LEGO Dots Bot Tutorial
182Say hello to the Dots Bot!
This idea was inspired by Disney's Ron Gone Wrong, and then I added in some characteristics of BMO from Adventure Time for the general shape. The face-screen allows for tons of customization just like LEGO Dots sets, so voila, a Dots-powered robot friend!
My tutorial shows you how to build the Dots Bot in red, but you can build the exact same model in yellow, blue, white, light-blue grey, or black. You could do a bunch of other colours for the body but then you'd have to come up with some alternative designs for the limbs.
I've also included some unique Dots Bots to show you what you can do to customize your own. Add accessories, alter the face... do whatever you want to make the Bot your own. Get creative!
