From March 2010 to September 2010, I participated in the beta testing of LEGO Universe. I have compiled the screenshots I have taken during testing for the world to see.

The Venture Explorer is a massive spaceship used by Venture League. As beta testing continued and the game developed, it received different captains, destinations, and missions. One thing always remained the same, and it was that the spaceship was being destroyed by the Maelstrom!

Beta Notes:
1:35 Beta GUI.
2:30 Beta Nexus Force Plaque template. The Captain's Log does not identify the captain of the Venture Explorer. Sentences are ended with periods instead of exclamation marks.
2:40 Sky Lane's Venture League Explorer uniform has no glow effects. Her occupation is simply listed as "Venture Explorer".
2:45 Referee Bob is shown when names are approved.
2:50 A different image of Bob cheering is displayed upon completion of missions.
3:00 The Nexus Force Plaque puts "FROM" in all-caps, at the top of the message, not in bold, and does not mention Beck's last name. "TO" is used instead of a bolded "Coded Message to", and Sky Lane is identified as a Venture Explorer. "Rockets" is capitalized in the second paragraph.
3:50 The "Rocket Roundup" achievement is titled "Over-Achiever".
4:15 Beta Passport.
4:20 "Ship's Registry", "Destination", "Faction Registration", and "Cargo" are not in bold. "Name: Venture Explorer" is used instead of "Captain: Sky Lane".
4:55 The Ship's Registry identifies Bob as the Captain.
5:30 "rocket", "nose cone", "cockpit", and "engine" are not capitalized. Sky Lane has black hair as a result of a glitch.
5:45 The Captain's Log is called "Captain Bob's Log", identifying Bob as the captain.
6:25 Destination listed as "Imagination Nexus".

Music is "The Kraken" by Hans Zimmer from "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest". It is intense shipwreck-themed music, which is why it was chosen for this video. In addition, the quiet sections bear similarities to segments of the Venture Explorer theme composed by Brian Tyler for the final game.
