LEGO Worlds Guide: How to Bring Custom Models into LEGO Worlds!
Hi there! Here is some great information to help you make custom content inside LEGO Worlds. Enjoy!
Step 1. Download LEGO Digital Designer "LDD" here: http://ldd.lego.com/en-us/download
Step 2. Download the LEGO Worlds blocks palette for use in LDD here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kzwyy1pbyyk1c8j/Lego%20Worlds%20(with%20colours).lxf?dl=0 Thanks to DasMatze for creating the palette!
Step 3. Place the blocks palette in your C:\Users\*YourName*\AppData\Roaming\LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\UserPalettes folder. You may need to make the UserPalettes folder yourself.
Step 4. Launch LDD and start a new project. In the bottom left hand corner click "Filter bricks by boxes" and select "LEGO Worlds"
Step 5. Create your object!
-Extra, if you want to colour the objects view this tutorial: https://youtu.be/VbDA_kWX8js
Step 6. Save your project and go to File > Export Mode, export your object as an .lxfml file.
Step 7. Go to Tool Box > Take a Screenshot and save a picture of your model. Make sure to name it the same as your .lxfml file.
Step 8. Copy the .lxfml file and .png picture and paste them into the C:\Users\*YourName*\AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGOWorlds\Mods\Models folder.
Step 9. In the LEGO Worlds game, go to the Models tab and select "Brick Builds". Your new custom model should be there to enjoy.
Step 10. Place it like you would any other block
