KILL EVERYTHING CHALLENGE
"Every living thing possible must be killed."
- DIFFICULTY: All Difficulties Eligible
- 1ST RUN: Begins upon entering the front door of the Police Station.
- 2ND RUN: Begins immediately.
- DEAD RUN: The player dies, reloads a save, reloads an auto save, is unable to kill all enemies, an enemy despawns before it is killed, player uses an infinite ammo weapon, or uses an infinite knife outside of Hardcore Mode.
- AUTO SAVE: Banned - Cannot reload save or results in disqualification.
- MANUAL SAVE: Banned
- HEALING: Yes
- INFINITE WEAPONS: Banned
- INFINITE KNIFE: Hardcore only - All Others Banned.
- WOODEN BOARDS: Banned
STANDARD:
- The primary strat on zombies is to shoot their head with a handgun in the hopes of getting a Critical Hit. It spends the fewest resources killing them that way. - Shooting a zombie's leg and then knife slashing while it's down is not a liable strategy due to it eating up too many resources.
- Since Critical Hits are completely RNG, each run will always come with different results. By the time you reach G1 you could have 2 handgun bullets or you could have 30 handgun bullets.
- It is often better to take damage from enemies instead of using a defense item.
- G1 has to be killed with the Knife strat. You need a knife in good condition for the fight or consider the run dead. Ammo will be too far gone at that point to make a comeback even if all handgun bullets in the Machinery Room are picked up during the battle.
- Before G1 on 1st Run, there are 6 passive zombies that will eat up up 45 handgun bullets without Critical Hits (the 3 after the cutscene with the other Leon/Claire, and the 3 in the Northwest Hallway after getting the Bolt Cutters). Two passive zombies can be AOEd in the Northwest Hallway with a Flame Round, but the other 4 will have to be shot with the handgun.A Shotgun can also work as it only cost 1 bullet and guarantee the Critical Hit. Knife and Acid Rounds are confirmed to not work.
- Grenade #1: Picked up after using all 3 medallions to enter secret passage, and used during the G1 fight to stun it longer.
- Grenade #2: Picked up in the same room you fight G1. Leon needs to save it for the Library. Claire is able to use it in the East Office while Tyrant dodging.
- Grenade #3: Picked up in the room you get the Mechanic Jack Handle. Leon needs to use it in the Jail room. Claire needs to use it in the Library.
- Grenade #4: One grenade needs to be used in the Lower Waterway Overpass (where you pick up Rook Piece). Be sure to agro the zombie in the work room (the room with item pouch and film) before using.
- Grenade #5: 1 Grenade used in the Laboratory's Cafeteria.
- Grenade #6: 1 Grenade used in the Lounge before the zombies rise up. Triggering the Lickers is an optionally more dangerous path.

- When revisiting the Police Station after G1, some enemies will have to be left alive and killed on the 3rd visit in order to save ammo for the zombies in the Jail room.
