Less Bark, More Bite | Sonic Frontiers and the Future of the Hedgehog
18Sonic Frontiers ended up being a sort of saving grace for the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, just like how myself and many others anticipated. But Sonic Team still have a ways to go before returning the hedgehog to his former glory.
Nevertheless, Kishimoto and the rest of the Sonic Team seem to be foresee a bright future for the hypersonic hedgehog - especially with the success of Sonic Frontiers as a motivator to work off of. Additionally, the higher-ups at SEGA themselves were so impressed with Frontiers' performance, that they decided to provide their developers with a higher budget and increased development time!
Sonic's future is suddenly looking more interesting. And with the free DLC waves on the way, it seems the hedgehog is only getting started... ๐ต๐ฆ
