Hello everyone out there in youtube land. So I'm not a music teacher, or music professional or hell even someone that owns any decent recording equipment, but what I do have is a fiery passion for everything guitar. So here I sit recording theory and guitar lessons for those that would like to take a fun approach at learning all things guitar..well at least as much as I can anyway!

Lesson 1: part 2: 19 Chords and Go.
Todays lesson is going to cover 19 chords that will make the overall process of learning the guitar and music in general a little more fun. It has always been my philosophy to keep music fun and enjoyable and I don't feel that the teaching you chord structure scales finger exercises tones pitches blah blah blah blah is all that fun...now don't get me wrong...we will be covering those topics just at a later date. The point of today is to teach what I consider to be the 19 chords that can be used to play simple versions of over 90% of all songs out there. notice I said simple versions. The key to this is to practice and practice these 19 chords in such a manner that they get ingrained in your subconscious so you can pull them out of thin air to play. Whats nice about learning these chords, as you will see in part 2 of this lesson, is that it allows you a place to fall back on to relax and take a breather or just have fun in between the boring or harder theory lessons. And that my pupils is key to keeping the guitar learning process fun and enjoyable. This second part covers some exercisies and examples of how to use these 19 chords.

To follow a long a lot easier with this lesson, as it will be very fast paced due to youtubes 10minute time constraints, please follow the link to download the Power Tab program. (it is a free program that lets you read and write guitar tabs) http://download.cnet.com/Power-Tab-Editor/3000-2133_4-10502034.html

then please email me at spazzology@gmail.com and specify which lesson's tab file you are interested in.

I hope you will find these lessons beneficial and please feel free to leave positive criticism and any questions or topics for future discussions. I will try to answer all in a timely manner. And thank you for taking the time out to listen in to what this lone guitarist has to say.

KEEP ON ROCKIN' IN THE FREE WORLD!!!
