Lethal Enforcers (Lethal Enforcers 1 & 2 On Playstation) Streets Mode Playthrough
Around 1 hour 20 minutes to beat on Streets Mode. I started off on Arcade Mode which also gives 30 credits to beat the game. The difference between Arcade and Streets Modes is that Arcade Mode plays the stages in sequence, while Streets Mode allows you to select the stages in any order. They both require you to beat them in 30 credits. Streets Mode did not seem to have an ending. I assume the ending credits play in Arcade Mode as I saw the ending online. This mode just crosses off the stages you beat. I completed all stages so I consider it beaten.
Setting both the fire and reload buttons to turbo usually works great for these games (turbo controller). The game was still a little challenging due to some bullshit with spotty hit detection (cursor has to be on specific part of enemy to initiate damage) and some complete bullshit bosses that require you to destroy specific parts in a specific order. This means you cant damage a part of the boss early. You have to do it in some unspecified order. Its just unclear trial and error bullshit. I wasted most of my credits on two of the shittier bosses. I practiced one of the bosses with saves after my failed Arcade Mode run, after checking a video. It turned out I had to destroy specific parts of the helicopter, not the boss itself.
I completed the stages in reverse order, to get the harder stages done first. Mainly the bullshitty boss fights. One good thing about this game is the cursor accelerator button. Basically it speeds up your cursor movement when using a controller. This is needed as the cursor moves way too slow to take everyone out. Especially since they appear on complete opposite ends of the screen. It takes some getting used to and is still had to pull off accurate shots quickly. Especially with the spotty hit detection.
This was a game I owned on Sega CD. I liked the game back then, but don't think I got that far. Maybe Ill try that version again too. I will try Lethal Enforcers 2 on this compilation next, so I can complete the full compilation for the KILL LIST. Then maybe do the same for this compilation on the Saturn, to fill out the list. The Sega CD version only gives a few credits.
Stay tuned !!
