So, after having Sword and Fairy: Together Forever so well received by my community, I ABSOLUTELY had to purchase the new addition to Softstar's darker series, Xuan-Yuan sword series, Xuan-Yuan Sword 7, marking the 2nd every Xuan-Yuan game to have English subtitles. The story of this game is IMMEDIATLY darker then Sword and Fairy. S&F is dark, but is covered by bright colors and cheerier cast of characters. Your family is murdered during your new born sister's birthday. Barely escaping with her, you raise her in secret, posing as Taishi a local hunter. An army responsible for hunting down and killing monsters, hires you to lead them to a monster called Blackmist. Upon doing so you are paid and you begin your trek home. Upon returning you find the monster has been chased back to your home and it has your sister! The guards allow it to kill her as a distraction, before delivering the final blow. Upon teleporting to a special Elysium realm, you receive instructions from a locked away man or entity calling himself the King. From here...the story just gets crazy. All I know is we HAVE to see this game through to the end!
