Lost in Nightmares is DLC for Resident Evil 5 and is available prepackaged with Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (Which is how I'm playing it). It really feels that this DLC was created to address the concerns that Resident Evil was straying too far from it's survival horror roots. If you want a game that feels more like this DLC, I've heard Resident Evil: Revelations has the atmosphere and scary enemies. The sound is much worse than usual in these episodes because we were trying to record Lost IN Nightmares and Desperate Escape in one sitting. We finished Lost In Nightmares, but during Desperate Escape I had a local power surge and my computer turned off. The audio and video I was recording was lost, but thankfully I didn't lose the game footage from the Lost In Nightmares because I stopped recording that to give us the biggest range of time to play since I didn't know how long the DLC was.
