LET'S COMPLETE !QUE PASA NENG! EL VIDEOJUEGO IN UNDER AN HOUR
4Oh yea, we're doing a longplay of a game that was only released in Spain, for a joke character that exists in Spain in the DJ scene and such, who appeared on a TV talk show called Buenafuente which this game likes to use. This is Edu Soto, known under his character as The Neng of Castefa. This is his video game. And he has the "privilege" of not only having Atari's name on this, somehow (Atari's logo is on the cover and manual), but ALSO being published by Phoenix Games and being ANOTHER game made by Mere Mortals with their name hidden in the copyright.
This is just a series of 5 minigames, however there is a catch, outside ALOT of video of the Neng himself doing his little crab dance and being a pretty obvious Ali A-like character. The catch is the main mode, which is how you unlock the minigames. If you fail ANY of them, you get sent back to the main menu and have to do it again from the start. It sucks. Now that you know that, let's talk about the minigames.
El Embalaja/Packaging - To be fair, this is the best sort of idea that this game has, even though the execution sucks. It's a 3 layer tetris game where you have to stack a number of pieces to fill out spots. Go over the invisible line, lose a point for each block past it. Fill all the spots in a square, get 100 points after a slow animation. You also get 10 points for every piece you have left. A neat variant idea for Tetris. A bad execution by Phoenix, which is not a surprise. This one is easy to fail too, since the score you need for the last one requires you to fill in every spot without fail.
Ambulancia/Ambulance - Neng is a DJ character, he does do live shows and advertises for live DJ shows in Spain. So obviously a minigame involving records is needed. Too bad this one is so bad and stupid, that its the easiest minigame of all of them. You press the button shown on the record. Fill the line and win. The AI is terrible at this. Starts with only 2 buttons, becomes all 4 face buttons in round 3. Done. This is the only game with a 2 player function to it. No one will play this with you.
Spot Konstitu - No, i didn't forget to translate this... this doesn't even mean anything in Spanish, its just some phrase or nonsense really. What this minigame involves is crushing flies that go onto your screen... with the Neng's face. He's going to be constantly making a face at you the entire time. This is also a very easy minigame, however your aiming is very slow and the flies don't stick around forever, so when they're WAY over one side compared to where you are... yea, more than likely you ain't getting that. The good news is that all the flies just stay around the middle.
En Guardia/On Guard - Hey guys, remember QIX? Good, because that is all this is, except you are a remote controlled car and instead of avoiding a series of lines, you avoid guards who bounce around the place, sometimes in weird ways. This is the 2nd hardest, but only because its QIX. Either you're good at QIX and can fill the required amount in seconds, or you're not and take your time eventually chipping away at it until you get said requirement without having you or your current line touched. I am not good at QIX. I chose the chipping route.
La Fortuna Rueda/The Fortune Wheel - Based on... well, the clip you see before it, its a wheel where you spin it and try to land it on the same picture three times (or the red car twice and then whatever else for 50 points given back). It's kinda a slot machine. You spend 50 points each time you go for a run. I tried to cheapen it and cheat it... you can't really. And to make matters worse, this spins rather fast, so coupled with the fact this is a PS2 game... yea, things get very blurry and its near impossible to tell where it's going to land. You can get pretty lucky and hit the 3 red cars in your first go, getting 1000 points and insta winning the whole game. Or you can be me and be rather unlucky on that because this minigame is the hardest just because it is rather luck based and due to the blur problem i mentioned, it is INCREDIBLY hard to time anything. And heck, sometimes even if you push the X button, the game pushes a bit forward at random anyway so you can lose your spot that way. Its stupid and bad. And this is how the game ends really.

Bottom line, game sucks. Are you really shocked by that? Its a blatant cash grab on a character that was/is popular in Spain by Phoenix Games. At the 50 minute mark, i just watch the extra videos which are 15 minutes of Neng content. There's probably more video than there is game here. Not the worst thing ever... but definitely a bad game overall.
