First, yes, this is a new microphone. I am not overwhelmingly pleased with this microphone, as the mic position is not ideal...it's a little too far off to the side. Still, it should be serviceable for when my regular mics finally all die.

Second, what we have this week is an educational title that states it can teach a person how to read hiragana writing. I've heard similar claims before, so let's put this one to a little bit of a test and see if the teaching methods are plausible.
