Let's Play and Talk Dark Souls 3 Episode 23 | Le Catacombs De Carthus!
3Just to clarify something I talk about in this episode that I think wasn't said clearly.
I draw comparisons between the paths of From Software's previous games to Dark Souls 3 and they are as follows:
1) Aldritch is analogous to the Chosen Undead from DS1, who got super swole and huge from absorbing the power of Gods and is revered as a saint when that might not be the case after all.
2) I think that Wolnir and Carthus are analogous to DS 2 - where kindgdoms were conquered but we might have also just fallen into the abyss.
3) Demon's Souls is referenced pretty heavily by some of the events in the Profaned capital, but I think that's tenable at best.
They are not direct correlations. IE: Aldritch is NOT the Chosen Undead. I think it's just a commentary on the events of that game and the supposed "hero" who might be seen as a bad guy by some.
