1Episode 6: Distributed Back
With the Power Plant destroyed, but the Power Bomb gained, we can fully explore the Tower. The Tester is probably the most annoying boss the game has to offer, as it takes some punishment and deals damage out in spades, yet it's also one of the more interesting original bosses since it can get pretty complicated with attack patterns. The rest of the Tower passes by quickly though, as it's mostly just items at that point.
It's at this point the game takes an entire left turn, introducing a completely new area, the Distribution Center. This place is added in to bring in the Super Metroid onwards water-logged area. This area is high in potential damage, due to some enemies frankly being ridiculous, but the new gimmick is a welcome addition to the game. The Chute-Room is a good way to handle backtracking, as it's one giant area that allows you to return to prior ones. We got a bit of cleanup here as well, and that's not too essential, it does lead us to another new area, the GFS Thoth, which is small, but has some fun exposition to it.
