Story: Our heroic team successfully frees Desert part of Paradisia from evil forces once they defeated Aku, No Heart and Vilgax. But since the ocean part of the planet is enormous, Draco and Iciclia decide that their team must split up, as enemy has concentrated all of it's forces around the planet. Ang and Mia go with Draco to fight off Aku, No Heart, and Vilgax's demonic minions on the northern part of River of Gargoyles and Insects while Sharn and Lief go with Iciclia to the southern part of River of Gargoyles and Insects to sink the underwatery base of Aku where he sends slaves to work day and night in making war machines to feed the Ikathids and Empire of the Night's war effort. Demon King's underwater base pollutes the waters of the planet, poisoning it and causing it to corrupt all who either touch it, swim in it or drink it. Base and is managed by Diablo and Arthas Menethil the Lich King, and those two villains will definitely put lot of fight with the help of the enslaved breeds of Wasps and Spiders from Insectus race, and where they will have reinforcements from vicious and treacherous gargoyle breed of Aconian race.
Gameplay: When starting a game, you can choose to play either as mage riding a dragon or witch riding a pegasus/unicorn. Both of them have same set of spells so you can choose whichever you prefer. Also don't bother evading every single bullet, dragon and pegasus are invulnerable, only mage and witch riding them are vulnerable. Ice spells have a chance to randomly freeze enemies, rendering them immobile and disarming them permanently, only bosses are immune to getting frozen by Ice spells. Spells that use Ice element are next: Freezing Arrow that normally fires small two icy bullets that can randomly freeze enemies, Ice Rain that rapidly fires small and fast, but highly inaccurate small icy bullets that can randomly freeze enemies, and Iceball, that fires a big icy bullet that can randomly freeze enemies. Double Shot gives you three more bullets for Freezing Arrow, Ice Ball and doubles the amount of shots for Ice Rain. However, unlike Fire spells, Ice spells do not gain spread at all when empowered with Double Shot bonus. Power Meter in form of the blue bar at the right side of the screen shows you how much time has left to complete the level, and it can be shortly reduced by collecting Soul (which looks like a transparent blue skull) Power-Up. Some levels will finish normally when the blue bar runs out, while some of them will be completed only when you defeated a Monster Champion aka Boss. Wasp Boss can summon three Wasps that will fly at you, and fire either spreaded or omni-directional bullets, Spider Boss can rapidly summon Spiders that will go forward, fire big bullets in either a small spread or in a big spread, Cyclops Boss can slam the ground with it's cudgel and shoot several and bigger rocks in a spread, some of them can be explosive and hurt greatly. Gargoyle Boss can fire three poison cloud bullets in a small spread, poison bullets in a big spread and can summon Gargoyles. Bosses will drop several coins and treasure chests that will give you extra points when collected, several runes and a Spell Scroll that will unlock a new spell for you to use.
