Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow Bonus 1 Anomaly-210
50On the first bonus episode of Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow, we take a little detour before our battle at Site Sigma. Going back to the New Guard's mountain radio array, I investigate the terminal that I had completely ignored during our main playthrough. After inserting the disk we retrieved from the ruins of the Spire, the Scav receives a map printout that includes something marked as "Anomaly-210", located to the North of the town of Prosperity. Skipping ahead to the point where we encounter Garavito at the North Gate, we deal with him (with the proper dialogue this time) and then take the North road to Anomaly-210. The anomaly turns out to be an old Soviet Typhoon-class submarine, which seems to have gotten very lost at some point considering the location is entirely land-locked. Heading inside, the sub seems entirely deserted, if a bit eerie. However, when we delve deep enough and restart enough systems, we disturb the restless dead. After triggering the Captain's revenge countermeasure, we're forced to beat a hasty retreat as the anomaly is erased.
