Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow Ep.16 The Junker Bunker
On the sixteenth episode of Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow, we've nearly finished looting the Dome for it's organic treasures, but there's one more area to clear before we're done. After wiping out the Matangos and spore plants from the lab area, we discover the Experimental Seeds that were thought to just be a myth or flight of fancy. We do a quick roundup of the few areas we hadn't completely cleared before, and then take a shortcut out that leads us into a new area of the tunnels before returning us to the surface. Back in town, we finally run into Jack, the merchant we saved from raiders earlier, and he rewards us for our assistance. Having cleared out the Pipe Works and now obtained the miracle seeds, the Sheriff tells us we've earned the right to a meeting with the Water Baron. But first, we deal with Smiley by paying his bail in order to learn what happened to the Wall. We don't learn much, and even his "stash" was a fakeout meant to let him skip town while we searched it. The when we head over to the Junkyard to see what these Roamers are all about, and find out if they have our bike. Before we even reach them though, I find an old bunker in the Junkyard that mutants are squatting in. There's also a vault in the bunker that just so happens to need a radio to open...
