I finally played an Atelier game, this one being Atelier Ayesha (pronounce it as A-e-cha), available on Playstation Plus Premium (or previously named Playstation Now). The PS Plus Premium service offers 4 of the Atelier games, and offer them as cloud streaming, which is perfect for trying it out and see how I like the game. Overall, I felt the game is cute, with amazing music (but it's a Gust game so I was assuming it would be the case), with great graphics and a story that I would personally like to follow, especially to see if we can figure out why Ayesha's sister disappeared! On top of all of this, one my favorite Japanese singer, Rurutia, has an insert opening song in this game. The game has an interesting gameplay, as you have a mix of classic RPG elements but also some sort of simulation elements (since your character is an herbalist). There is also a system of time spent that you need to be careful about, especially when moving on the world map. I was glad I could try out various gameplay elements knowing I played only the first hour of the game!
