Das Spiel basiert auf einem mäßig erfolgreichem Zweiteiler (Imperium: Augustus) von 2003 über das Leben von Augustus. Daher bekommt man immer wieder Videosequenzen aus dem Film zu sehen. Allerdings spielt der Spieler ein neues Mitgliedes der Prätorianer-Garde (die unter Augustus ausgebaut aber vornehmlich als Wachtruppe des Palastes eingesetzt wurde). Das Spiel selbst spielt sich dabei als Stealth-Actionspiel. Interessantes Konzept das allerdings gegen die Konkurrenz 2004 wenig Chancen hatte. Entwicklerstudio war die Spieleschmiede Collision Studios aus Hannover.
