ORIGINAL RECORD DATE: January 10th, 2025.

I'm a longtime fan of James Cameron's Avatar, and it's impressively rich setting. When I got the chance to see The Way of Water mid-2023, it made me yearn for a game set on Pandora. Some days later, exactly that was officially announced. Now that over a year has passed, I've gotten my hands on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for the first time.

It has been a good while since I featured a 'Ubisoft Formula' title in a Let's Play, but it takes me back. Yeah, Ubisoft has been making fools of themselves, and yeah, I understand that a lot of people don't like the formula anymore. For me, I am just hear to enjoy the game itself, and have always had a soft spot for their open world games. Although fans of Avatar seem to get very defensive if someone says that Frontiers of Pandora is a "Far Cry: Avatar" experience, that's actually something I am pleased with. However, while the game definitely shares similarities with other games utilizing the Ubisoft formula, its incredible world and enjoyable exploration sets it in a league of its own. In my opinion anyway.

Aside from some technical difficulties in the opening episodes of the Let's Play, I will be attempting to complete the main story & its side content. Or as much of it as possible. Playing on the 'Hard' difficulty, in 'Exploration' mode. This supposedly removes a lot of UI & help elements, instead giving you context clues to search and find things on your own. As of starting the game, I'm not entirely sure how large Avatar: FoP really is, but it looks to provide a pretty large amount of playtime.

If you're not a returning Tiglet, then understand that my playstyle & way of recording is relatively relaxed. It tend to take my time with games, and don't edit out anything from the gameplay. This is a true Let's Play where you can join me on another wonderful journey. The only loss of footage comes from technical errors.

All episodes for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are recorded & uploaded in 1440p at 60fps. Without a unique intro or outro.

A story set in a sprawling open world from the universe of Avatar as a Let's Play? Funny brain!

NOTE: This Let's Play is marked as "BLIND". Which means it is my first time playing & experiencing the game. Expect my knowledge to be limited, as I'll be learning as I go. I will most likely not make use of a lot of systems or strategies while I'm still getting use to things.
