0While the Plague Doctress analyzes the blood sample we have her, we get to check out around town and look for anything interesting to waste time. We break into the school again and clean the ink off the door so we can go into the hallway. The further we go, the more the environment loses its detail. We break into the Janitor's room and grab some tools. When we step out, the fire alarm goes off because apparently, the janitor was a heavy smoker. The alarm summons some very nasty activity which makes the world around us lose even more detail, open eyes to lock on us, and those robot things to appear. We escape and the school is closed off for now. Downtown, we check out the coffee shop for some weird activity going on there, break into an apartment basement and complete a child's activity book. We buy a newspaper with a headline article on a monster in the lake. We head to the city park again to toss a rock into the lake and it disturbs something alright. We don't want to stick around to find out what it is so we escape. The park is closed off. Once we've wasted enough time, Plague Doctress calls us back to house to discuss her findings. It turns out that the blood sample was pure ink. What ever virus is responsible is turning blood to ink and killing everyone. She has an idea to make some medicine for it, but we'll need supplies yet again. She gives us an alarm clock to distract whatever horrible activity we disturb so we can go looking for her supplies unharmed, but we'll need to get the clock working.
