BATTLETECH, THE PC GAME
BattleTech is a turn based strategy video game (a tactical game actually) about a civil war fought by noble houses in a far away future. Mankind has colonized the stars. The most formidable weapons of this age are giant Mechs, fighting robots of science fiction.
The player is commanding and managing a mercenary company of Mech pilots – so called Mechwarriors – who travel the stars in search of lucrative contracts. Upgrading your starship, building mechs and enhancing your mechs with the loot you find on the battlefield is an important part of the gameplay. You also need to keep your mechwarriors happy. The real action happens during the tactical combats when usually several lances of mechs and other fighting vehicles clash.
Battletech was developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive in 2018. Three DLCs have been released (Heavy Metal, Urban Warfare, Flashpoint) and a skin named Shadowhawk Pack.
THIS BATTLETECH LET'S PLAY
In this Let's Play we will experience a full Battletech playthrough that also functions as a tutorial and walkthrough. We will see lots of uncut gameplay and play a full Battletech campaign. After finishing the game I might add a few episodes of PvP. In the end of this series of game videos I will add a video with my collected thoughts of Battletech which will function as a test and review.

My callsign is Hardball, PlayingHardball. I’ve always loved gaming and games as forms of art and ways of exploring narratives in interactive ways. I have been playing video games nearly all my life, on the internet for a few years now. I enjoy a great variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (like Mass Effect, Disco Elysium, The Witcher, etc), strategy/tactical games (like XCOM, Panzercorps, Total War etc), and RPGs (like Baldur's Gate, Pathfinder etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!
