We assemble 2 powerful mechs - the devastator DVS-2 and the Atlas AS7-K

The Atlas AS7-K is a variant redesigned by Kurita. You can mount a LOT more weapons but at the expense of overheating after an alpha strike.
The Devastator DVS-2 (and DVS-3 likewise), can mount 2x Gauss Rifles and 3x ER PPCs but it has no missile slots. This makes this mech a very formidable one, and can even out damage a Thunderhawk provided all 5 weapons score their hit.

We have then gone a long way since dumping the old Highlander HGN-732B, and by far this mech is an excellent upgrade for it.
