We're coming up on the limit of what I know about making my mechs better, which is to say I am going to need to actually refit my mechs and buy stuff to upgrade them. I do not have the finances to afford this.

What can I say, big stompy shooty robots are cool and fun. I've not played this game before but I loved Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. I don't expect the two to be similar, and I know nothing about the lore of the setting, so it's very much a learning experience for me.
