87We've rescued Gwen, the other major character in all the promotional art who you knew was going to be joining us at some point in thie adventure. We're not sure why they were trapped in that cage, but the pair are going to have to work together from now on if they want to escape this place unharmed and stop whatever terrible thing the leader of the wolves is planning.
Point and click adventure games generally treat companions in one of two ways: they either have them as fully controllable as the main protagonist with a way to switch said control between the two or they act more as an NPC you can talk to, gaining insight and assistance from them when it's needed. Gwen falls into the latter category, but that's not to say they serve a lesser role in the story. No, their brains and brawn are going to be essential both to figuring out just what's going on here and working towards stopping it... if we can.
