Let's Play Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard #09: Trapped in the Wolf's Den
72So, let's take stock of our situation.
The leader of the wolves, who doesn't appear to be in control of the strange metal monsters, is planning something that will put all the others animals of the world 'in their place'. Time appears to be of the essence as well which reveals that events are moving quickly enough that things are going to get really bad quite quickly unless we do something... which we can't do because we're locked into the home of the head of the wolves.
Being a point and click adventure game of the modern era, we have everything we need on our person or within this building to escape as well as plenty of warning as to when we're in a place that could get us killed. I can't begin to tell you how terrible it was in older games to be in a 'dead man walking' situation because of something you did way back in the beginning of the game that you couldn't have known would doom you, but that's not going to be happening here.
What IS going to be happening, however, is me failing to figure out a very simple puzzle that should have been obvious right from the start. Don't worry, I'll get there in the end.
