To say that Trademeet has some major problems right now is an understatement. It’s a good thing that Terri and company turned up when they did, just as things are about to reach a crisis point. While the town has two issues going on at the same time, we’re not given both things to work through at once. Sensibly the ruler of the town wants us to focus on the issue more imminently perilous for the townsfolk first, the matter of animals attacking the town with seemingly no provocation. The townsfolk believe it’s the druids who are causing it but even if that’s true, it still needs to be investigated. Not everything is as simple as it may appear at first glance.
You don’t have to deal with the issues plagueing Trademeet at all if you don’t wish to;t here’s plenty of money available from other quests to get the amount needed to progress the plot, after all. Unlike other areas we’ve been to however, Trademeet is effectively shut off from functioning properly until you deal with these quests. The stores have no stock for you and there are few if any quests available for you to beyond the urgent ones. The reward for doing the urgent quests is worth it however, even if my party is starting to grumble about things. Though we’re not at a point where I really need to worry yet, it’s best I don’t forget that while a decent reputation is good for prices, a very good reputation is bad for party morale.
