In today's livestream, we're gonna learn about how best to identify the best way to earn influence for your faction and earn profit at the same time.

Process: In your source system, using EDDB's system search, identify the station with the best supply of goods with very high demand and a big difference in buy price versus galactic average. These goods should have a green "radio bar" in the demand section in the game itself, and a likely demand of more than 100,000. The best are those with the most demand and a high galavg profit. You will need to work on identifying the best mix of high demand and high profit.

Use EDDB to find the commodity in a nearby system that has a lot of these commodities for well under galavg pricing, close to the star within 1 jump of your station. Add an FSD booster to make it one jump if necessary - you'll save two minutes every loop with that one simple hack.

Make your source and destination stations or systems favorites in Inara, and use the Inara Market Search to find the most profitable loops within your favorites, and do them all until you get bored. It's important after Update 10 to BUY and SELL, and it's best to buy high supply goods from your source station that the destination station wants, and sell high profit, high demand goods on the way back.

If you want to earn bounties too, use a Cutter with a strong offensive loadout. Pirates love to get your stuff, so farm them and hand in the combat bounties every trip you earn them. Do not hand in bounties for any other faction in the system you're trying to boost.

Make sure you check the mission boards for the stuff you have on you for your faction. This will earn direct influence and money probably in excess of its sale price.

BGS has favored a mix of commodities every load for some time now, so it's okay to stock up on four or five different high supply goods from your source station, and four or five high demand goods at the destination station. This will boost both your desired system and the alternate system.

There is a lot of contention on the size of sales. It used to be a long time ago 1 t per sale. Don't do that to yourself - it hasn't worked that way for at least a year. There is some evidence before Update 10 that 1.5 mCr profit per sale is the sweet spot. The science for that hasn't been done yet. If in doubt, more sales of partial loads of stuff is better than selling 25-30 t of stuff at a time, as you'll get more loops in. The science for this needs to be done.
