Let's Play Black Mesa - Part 24: Do-over the do-over
15Hey y'all! I mention this in the opening of the video, but just so we're clear: this part of the video isn't blind. I had blind footage, but lost over half of it (thanks FRAPS), and the stuff I did have turned out to be pretty trashed anyway. It was just unusable. So, after fighting to teach myself OBS AND changing my editing workflow to use Shotcut instead of Windows Movie Maker 6..0...voila! The video you see before you. Not blind, but pretty good all the same. I take a small bit of pride in the fact that I suck a lot less when I know where the bad guys are going to be.
I'm still terrible though, don't worry. Plenty of amusement to be had. Speaking of which, if you're a patron, keep an eye on Patreon this weekend. I'm going to give an annotated post talking about the blind experience I had with this section, and what abject stupidity I ran into. Should be good for a laugh.
