Blockpocalypse is the shared screen multiplayer party platformer about surviving with your friends... or at least outliving them.
Set during the apocalyptic destruction of the world, players find themselves having to cooperate or compete in order to survive.
Using the debris and blocks around them, players must build haphazard structures to climb, cross or block the dangers that threaten their survival.
Supporting up to 4 players in shared screen multiplayer using XBox360 mapped gamepads, Blockpocalypse features both competitive mini games and cooperative survival modes in a humorous pixel art style.
Loads of Characters - You'll be spoilt for choice.
Cooperate or Compete - All for one or one for all?
Intense Multiplayer - Scream at each other. Survive with each other. Or just outlive each other.
Gamepad Support - 4 hands but only 1 keyboard? Nope. Gamepads are good to go.
Blockpocalypse wouldn't be the 4 player party apocalypse that it is without a game modes for every occasion.
Survival - The classic cooperative experience, work with your party to progress through the level and reach the safety of the rescue helicopter… Or at least make sure you survive.
Blockball - An apocalyptic alternative to basketball. Pair off in 2v2, or go head to head in 1v1 while the world burns around you.
Crown Of Chaos - Assert your dominance as the wasteland ruler by holding the Crown, until someone else takes your place.
Elimination - Knock your opponents into the lava to be the last one alive in this straight forward block brawl.
Blockpocalypse was originally made at the Melbourne Global Game Jam 2015, and after continued development is in closed alpha as we continue to add features and content.
