So I did try out the challenge scenario where you get points for playing the game a certain way. It's not bad but I don't like being forced to play a certain way. This is especially so when trying to unlock characters.

So Endorian and Aurora are unique in they have zero rune power. I do not know how well they play as I haven't had time to try them out.

Custom mode is cool, it allows you to setup your own sort of scenarios. Could have the empire take over the map right off and have to fight to take the territory you need.

Overall, fantastic game and a great improvement. Wish the music was a bit better though.
